- Postdoctoral Experience: University of Exeter Medical School
Research Interests: Dr. Shepherd focuses on using novel interventions—such as nutritional strategies and exposure to extreme environments—to improve metabolic and cardiovascular health. His work emphasizes patient-centered outcomes, particularly in chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He explores disease pathophysiology to identify therapeutic strategies.
