Anselm Dannecker serves as a Lecturer at the School of Law, Washington University in St Louis, teaching courses including International Negotiations and Diplomacy: The Case of Climate Change, Cross-Cultural Dispute Resolution, and Introduction to Negotiation & Dispute Resolution. Concurrently, he holds a Senior Research Fellow position at Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership.
His research centers on complex multistakeholder negotiations with specialized expertise in international climate diplomacy and legislative negotiation processes, extending to interpersonal and civil conflict resolution dynamics. Current work investigates AI integration for democratizing negotiation skill-building access globally, reflecting his commitment to bridging theoretical frameworks with practical application in high-stakes diplomatic contexts.
Professor Dannecker co-leads the 'Turn the Tide' initiative at Harvard's Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Collaboratory, which delivers an innovative online curriculum training hundreds of international negotiators annually.
