Anselm Böhmer

Prof. Dr. Anselm Böhmer is Head of the Department of General Education at Ludwigsburg University of Education. His research examines socialization and subjectification in late modernity, focusing on power dynamics, identity designations, and organizational roles in social inequality. He teaches educational philosophy, structural discrimination, and political aesthetics, with field research in Australia and international collaborations.

Previously Dean at HS Weingarten and consultant for Caritas Freiburg, he holds a doctorate in Pedagogy from Freiburg (2001) and degrees in Social Pedagogy and Theology.
