Anoush Margaryan is a Full Professor and Endowed Chair at the Department of Digitalization, Copenhagen Business School. Her research focuses on workplace learning dynamics, digital technology integration, and AI-mediated work environments. She holds a PhD in Educational Science and Technology from the University of Twente (2006).
Her research combines learning sciences, psychology, sociology, and organizational studies to explore human agency and skill development in digital workplaces. She has led 20 interdisciplinary projects funded by institutions including the UK ESRC, Shell, BP, and the European Centre for Vocational Training.
Professor Margaryan has received prestigious awards including the Alexander von Humboldt Senior Fellowship (2016) and the Excellence in Research-to-Practice Award (2005). She previously held professorships at Glasgow Caledonian University (2015) and the University of West London (2018), with prior affiliations at the University of Dundee, Goethe University Frankfurt, and others.
As a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII), she contributes to discussions on human capabilities in AI-driven societies. Her work emphasizes practical applications of theory in workplace learning and digital transformation.
