Anoop Singh

Dr. Anoop Singh is a Professor at the Department of Management Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK). His work focuses on Power Sector Regulation, Renewable Energy Policy, and Energy Economics, with significant contributions to energy pricing, climate policy modeling, and cross-border energy cooperation. He founded the Centre for Energy Regulation (CER) and Energy Analytics Lab (EAL) at IITK.

His research interests span power sector reforms, regulatory governance, energy pricing, renewable energy integration, project financing, and climate policy modeling. He has led initiatives in smart grid development, minigrid economics, and energy analytics, often contextualized within India's energy transition.
