Anoop Sattineni is the Hunt Associate Professor and Executive Programs Chair at the McWhorter School of Building Science, part of the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) at Auburn University. His academic roles include overseeing the Executive Graduate Certificate and Masters programs in Construction Management, which have been operational for 12 years. He holds a Ph.D. in The Built Environment from the University of Salford (UK), a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Osmania University.

His research focuses on the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into construction practices and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to monitor and enhance construction safety, particularly regarding compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards. He contributes to graduate education through executive programs and participates in initiatives like the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) International Conference.
The CADC Seed Grant Awards, which fund faculty research and creative work, align with his academic environment. The McWhorter School of Building Science, where he is based, has also expanded its international study opportunities and graduate facilities, including the renovated Demo Lab in the M. Miller Gorrie Center.
