Dr. Anoek Sluiter-Oerlemans is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen, affiliated with both the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences (Department of Pedagogy) and the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism, ADHD), intergenerational social/behavioral development, mental health, and longitudinal data analysis. She holds a PhD from Radboud University (2013) and has held postdoctoral roles at the University Medical Center Groningen and Radboud University. She has received several awards, including a 2017 fellowship and multiple best poster recognitions for her work on ADHD and ASD. Her teaching roles include coordinating master's theses and supervising over 20 student projects since 2014. She is involved in large cohort studies like TRAILS NEXT, examining adolescent development across generations.
