Annuska Rantanen is a Doctoral Researcher and University Instructor at Tampere University, specializing in urban planning and resilience. Her work intersects multiple disciplines within the Built Environment, focusing on strategic planning, complex systems, and retail morphology. With over 40 research outputs and 75 academic activities since 2010, she has contributed extensively to urban development discourse.
Her research explores deep uncertainty in urban systems, socio-technical networks for place-based planning, and urban scaling challenges.
