Annika Sehl

Prof. Dr. Annika Sehl is a leading scholar in communication science, holding the Chair of Journalism with a focus on media structures and society at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (since 2022). She is an Affiliate Member of the ARC Center of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) in Australia (since 2025) and a Research Associate at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, University of Oxford (since 2018). Her work examines journalism's role in democratic societies, particularly the digital transformation of media, journalistic norms, and audience participation.
