Annika Lindh Falk is an Associate Professor at Linköping University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, affiliated with the Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences and the Division of Society and Health. Her work focuses on enhancing interprofessional education (IPE) and collaboration in healthcare settings. She holds leadership roles including Programme Director for Interprofessional Education, member of the Management Group for the Strategic Area of IPE Research and Learning (IPLS-FOU), and Board Member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Her research explores interprofessional learning in clinical practice and higher education contexts, with a strong emphasis on understanding how healthcare students and professionals collaborate effectively. Key projects include the international ALLin4IPE study examining clinical placement architectures and the LOTS initiative focused on occupational therapy education. She teaches medical education at the master's level and supervises PhD and master's candidates in medical education and occupational therapy.
Publications highlight topics like interprofessional clinical placements, standardized patient methodologies, and socio-material perspectives on healthcare collaboration. Her work bridges educational theory with practical implementation, advocating for systemic collaboration between academic institutions and healthcare providers.
