Annika Krick

Annika Krick is a Senior Academic Councillor at the Department of Work, Organizational and Business Psychology, Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg. She holds a habilitation in Workplace Health Promotion (2024) and a PhD in Occupational Health Promotion (2020). Her research focuses on health-oriented leadership, digital transformation in workplaces, stress prevention, and mindfulness-based interventions. She has extensive experience in projects related to corporate health management (BGM) in the Bundeswehr and federal police forces.

Education: Habilitation (2024), PhD (2020), Master’s in Applied Psychology (2014), Bachelor’s in Psychology (2012). Professional activities include leading the dtec.bw project on digital leadership and health, and trainer roles for police and armed forces. She has authored/co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and books on workplace health, leadership, and digital transformation.

Key research interests include: health-oriented leadership in digital contexts, effects of telework and multitasking, evaluation of leadership trainings, and physiological biomarkers (e.g., heart rate variability). Awards include the 3rd Platz Lehrpreis 2021 from her institution.

Her work spans academic publications, editorial roles (Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology), and practical trainings for resilience building and stress prevention. She actively contributes to conferences and symposia on occupational health and leadership development.
