Annika Jahnke

Annika Jahnke is a Professor at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) Leipzig, where she leads the Teaching and Research Area of Exposome Analytics as a University Professor.

Her research centers on Exposome Analytics, investigating the totality of environmental exposures across the human lifespan and their biological impacts. This work integrates environmental science, analytical chemistry, and exposure assessment to develop methodologies for quantifying complex environmental interactions with human health, emphasizing real-world exposure scenarios and biomarker discovery.

Professor Jahnke directs the Exposome Analytics research group at UFZ Leipzig, focusing on advancing exposome characterization through innovative analytical techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration.
