Annika Hall is an Affiliated Researcher at CeFEO (Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership) and teaches family business courses at Jönköping International Business School. She holds a PhD in Business Administration (Strategy and Family Business) from the same institution. While working full-time as an advisor to privately held businesses, she maintains part-time academic engagements focused on ownership succession and governance.
Her research examines critical challenges in family enterprises, including:
- Ownership transfer processes between generations
- Structural and relational conflicts among business owners
- Corporate governance frameworks for privately held firms
- Emotional/identity challenges during leadership transitions
She disseminates insights through books, articles, and blogs aimed at helping family businesses navigate complex succession scenarios.
