Dr. Annie Delbridge is an Assistant Professor in Literacy Education at the College of Education, Western Oregon University (WOU), within the Department of Education and Leadership. She specializes in literacy education, bilingual schooling, and social justice in education. Prior to WOU, she taught at California Polytechnic State University and part-time at Oregon State University. Her career includes third-grade teaching in California, Peace Corps service in Paraguay as an education advisor, and a literacy coach role in Minnesota. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy Education (with a focus on Second Languages and Cultures) from the University of Minnesota.
