Prof. Dr.-Ing. Annette Menting is Professor for Design-Oriented Architectural History and Building Culture at the Faculty of Architecture and Social Sciences at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences, where she has been teaching since 2000. Her academic career is deeply rooted in both practical architectural experience and scholarly research, having previously worked in prominent architectural firms including Hinrich Baller and von Gerkan, Marg and Partner.
Menting's research interests span architectural history, monument preservation, and contemporary building culture with particular emphasis on performance arts architecture.
