Annette Decker

Annette Decker is a part-time lecturer at Folkwang Universität der Künste, specializing in Dramaturgy, Aesthetics, and Media Studies. She holds a background in German Studies, Philosophy, and Art History from Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. With professional experience as a dramaturgical assistant in Bochum and Berlin, and later as a dramaturge in Cologne, she brings practical industry knowledge to her academic role.

Her research explores the intersection of dramaturgy, media theory, and performance aesthetics. She has contributed to screenwriting projects and youth theater initiatives throughout Germany.
