معرفی
Annette Bolte is a Senior Lecturer (tenured) in the Department of Psychology at Technische Universität Dresden, part of the Faculty of Science. Her research focuses on volitional control processes, neural mechanisms modulated by emotions and reward, and cognitive mechanisms of intuitive judgments and implicit learning. She explores how emotional states influence intuitive decision-making and semantic memory activation.
Education includes a Habilitation in Psychology (2008, TU Braunschweig) under Prof. Dirk Vorberg, a Dr. rer. nat. (1999, Universität Osnabrück) and Diploma (1994) under Prof. Julius Kuhl.
Her work spans emotion-cognition interactions, implicit learning paradigms, and experimental psychology. Key findings include the role of affective states in cognitive processing modes and the neural underpinnings of intuitive judgments.
Scientific contributions include studies on sequence learning modularity and emotion's impact on semantic coherence. Awards include grants from DFG (2004) and the U.S. National Institute of Justice (2005). She has coordinated the Cognitive-Affective-Neuroscience Master's program at TU Dresden and serves as a reviewer for journals like Cognition and Psychological Science.
