Annette Bilfeldt holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of People and Technology at Roskilde University. She is affiliated with the Research Group for Health and Society and the Center for Arctic Studies. With expertise in sociology, social sciences, and gender studies, her teaching and research emphasize participatory action research, elderly care, and the professionalization of care work. She has contributed extensively to studies on work-life balance, inclusive workplaces, and quality management in eldercare.

Her research interests focus on the sociology of work, gender perspectives in unskilled industrial labor, and the impact of organizational changes on care quality.
