Annet Zuidhof (ing. A.B. Zuidhof) is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Groningen, Netherlands. She contributes to research in pharmacology, toxicology, and pharmaceutical science, focusing on respiratory diseases and regenerative medicine.
- Allergen
- Guinea Pig Models
- Respiratory Tract Allergy
- Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease
- Osteoglycin
- Epithelial Cell Repair
Her work addresses UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Good Health and Well-Being. She actively collaborates on international projects, with recent studies on fibroblast-derived osteoglycin's role in tissue repair and arginase inhibitors for asthma/COPD therapies.
Research trends include in vitro/ex vivo drug testing, small airway hyperresponsiveness, and leveraging guinea pig models to understand respiratory inflammation. She uses precision-cut lung slices and advanced pharmacological assays.
As part of the Lab Team Pharmacy and Lecturers Team 2, she works within the Department of Pharmacology, focusing on translational models for respiratory diseases. Contact: a.b.zuidhof@rug.nl
