Dr. Anne van Leeuwen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy & Religion at James Madison University. Her research focuses on 19th-20th century continental philosophy, addressing social/political issues through analyses of symbolic and material domination/exploitation structures. She teaches ethical reasoning, continental philosophy topics, and feminist philosophy, and leads the department's Philosophy and Film group.
