Roles & Affiliations: Anne Wolff is a Lecturer and project leader at the Centre for Landscape Studies, part of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Groningen. She also serves as Vice-chair of Sustainable Landscapes. Her work focuses on landscape history, designed landscapes, and sustainable environmental practices.
Teaching & Research: She teaches courses in Landscape History, Art & Environment, and European Cultural Landscapes at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research integrates historical geography and cultural heritage, emphasizing the intersection of human design and natural environments. She leads fieldwork projects and excursions, including specialized studies in regions like North-West Italy and Southern England.
Projects & Initiatives: She coordinates the Summer School 'Sustainable Landscapes: The Wadden Experience' and oversees specialized master's projects, such as oral history and historical geography fieldwork. Her work aligns with the Faculty Board's focus on interdisciplinary landscape studies.
