Anne Williams

Anne Williams is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Emory University. She holds a PhD in Nutritional Biology from the University of California, Davis (2015), an MPH in Public Health from UC Davis (2010), and a BS in Aquatic and Fishery Science from the University of Washington (2003).

Her research focuses on optimizing nutritional assessment methodologies, particularly improving maternal nutrition and anemia reduction strategies. Key areas include evaluating biomarkers for iron deficiency, analyzing the impact of water/sanitation interventions on nutritional outcomes, and investigating the role of inflammation in micronutrient status assessment.
