Anne Toppinen is a Professor and Chair in Markets and Marketing for Forest Products at the University of Helsinki's Department of Forest Sciences. She also serves as Vice Dean for Research Affairs and Doctoral Education at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. Her work focuses on sustainable forestry, wood-based construction markets, and consumer-driven sustainability transitions.
Key affiliations include leadership roles at the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS) and academic boards such as the Finnish Society of Forest Sciences. She holds a Docent title in both Forest Economics and Social Economics of Forestry.
