Dr. Anne-Sophie Mayer is an Assistant Professor at the KIN Center for Digital Innovation within the School of Business and Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focuses on how emerging technologies like AI reshape organizational work and professional identities. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Passau (2021) and a Master’s in International Culture and Business Studies from the same institution (2018). Her academic background also includes dual bachelor’s degrees in International Business Studies from Hochschule Harz and Otago Polytechnic.
Research Interests: Anne investigates the impact of AI on professional roles, workplace dynamics, and knowledge generation. Notable areas include AI-driven decision systems, platform economy effects, and barriers to digital innovation adoption. She employs empirical methods such as case studies and field research to explore these topics.
