Anne Reynès-Delobel is an Associate Professor in American Literature at Aix-Marseille University, France, and a Visiting Professor (2023-2024) at AmericaS. Her research focuses on modernist and avant-garde culture during the interwar period, with a shift from single-author studies (e.g., Kay Boyle, Claude Cahun, Joseph Cornell) to transatlantic circulations and mediation processes influencing 1920-1930s American literature.
She has co-authored the monograph Glorieuses Modernistes (2016) and published in journals such as the Journal of Modern Periodical Studies, European Journal of Periodical Studies, and Transatlantica. Since 2009, she has served as president of the Kay Boyle Society and co-founded the CIVIS transdisciplinary program Transitive Modernities (2021) to explore trans-European and transcultural connections.
Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, bridging literary studies with visual culture and periodical networks. She coordinates seminars on media portraiture and modernist aesthetics, focusing on formal experimentation and cross-cultural dialogue.
