Anne Perri Koba

Anne Perri Koba serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy within the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Hartford's College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions.

Her educational background includes:

• MS in Special Education with concentration in Assistive Technology from Southern Connecticut State University
• BS in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University

Professor Koba specializes in clinical applications of occupational therapy with expertise spanning school-based practice environments, pediatric early intervention services, and assistive technology implementation. Her scholarly focus integrates therapeutic methodologies with strong advocacy for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) principles across healthcare and educational settings.

She founded the Coginchaug Alliance for Racial Equity to advance community education and support systems in DEIB initiatives. Professional achievements include adjunct teaching appointments across multiple institutions and supervision of occupational/physical therapy departments within Hartford Public Schools.
