Anne Moen is a Professor at the University of Oslo's Department of Public Health and Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine. Her academic interests span health informatics, digital health literacy, citizen engagement, and socio-cultural activity theory. She also serves as the Director of UiO:eColab, leveraging advanced eInfrastructure for research.
Education: PhD (Dr. Polit) from the University of Oslo (1996–2002), Postdoc at InterMedia (2002–2005), and Fulbright Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2001–2002). She holds a Registered Nurse qualification and prior healthcare experience.
Research focuses on digital health innovations, patient-centered technologies, and health equity. Notable projects include Gravitate-Health (digital health information service) and CAPABLE (FHIR standard application).
Awards include Honorary Fellow of EFMI (2019) and Fellow of ACMI (2015). Over 150 publications in journals like International Journal of Medical Informatics and Journal of Medical Internet Research.
Leadership roles include EFMI President (2014–2016) and board memberships in healthcare organizations. Collaborations with Akershus University Hospital, Norsk E-helse AS, and Norway Healthtech.
