Her work examines organizational challenges in standard implementation including understanding specific terminology, personal investment of actors, legitimacy processes, and conflicts during internal audits. She has developed significant theoretical contributions on process approaches in organizations and methodological reflections on qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her current research explores strategies for legitimizing standards among different organizational stakeholders.
Her recent publications (2023-2025) demonstrate a strong trajectory examining quality management in higher education institutions, particularly how faculty deans perceive quality provisions in French universities. She has also investigated the intangible role of ISO certification in innovation processes, organizational responses to crises (including the Covid-19 pandemic), and the transition toward greater environmental and social responsibility in business practices. Her work spans theoretical examinations of management standards and practical applications across diverse organizational contexts.
As a permanent member of the Montpellier Management Research laboratory and associate member of the Biens Normes et Contrats laboratory, she has established herself as a significant contributor to the field of quality management and standardization. Her publications appear in respected journals including The Quality Management Journal, Innovations, La Revue des Sciences de Gestion, and Revue Française de Gestion.
Her research has practical implications for organizations implementing quality management systems, particularly regarding quality manager selection and training, standard integration with organizational processes, and development of effective quality cultures. She has also provided valuable insights into how standards can support organizational innovation and adaptation to changing business environments, with particular attention to the French context.
Her laboratory work centers on management system standards and their legitimacy within organizations, examining how standards are adopted, interpreted, and implemented across different organizational contexts, with special emphasis on the mediating role of quality managers.
