Anne-Marie Weijmans

Dr. Anne-Marie Weijmans is a Reader in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St Andrews, specializing in galaxy evolution and dark matter halo dynamics. She leads the SDSS-V data products and directs the Shine initiative. Her teaching includes courses on condensed astrophysics, gravitational dynamics, and historical astronomy. Research focuses on galaxy structure, morphologies, and observational surveys. Awards include the 2021 SIGMOD Systems Award and recognition as a Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher multiple times.
