Professor Anne-Marie Minihane is a Professor of Nutrigenomics at the Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. She leads the Nutrigenetics research group within the Department of Nutrition and Preventive Medicine and serves as Domain Lead at the Norwich Institute for Healthy Ageing (NIHA) and Lifespan Health Centre. Her roles include heading Nutrition and Preventive Medicine programs and overseeing interdisciplinary research initiatives focusing on dietary interventions for cognitive health, dementia risk mitigation, and menopausal well-being.
Education:

- BSc in Nutrition and Biochemistry, University College Cork (1991)
Research Focus:
Investigates nutrient-genotype interactions, particularly the APOE4 allele's role in health outcomes. Specializes in omega-3 fatty acids, Mediterranean diets, and their effects on cognition, dementia, and menopause. Employs human intervention trials (RCTs), rodent models, and molecular techniques to explore mechanisms linking diet and health.
