Anne-Marie Croteau is the first woman Dean of the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. She holds the rank of Full Professor in the Department of Supply Chain and Business Technology Management. Her research focuses on strategic management of information technology, governance of IT, and the impact of the gig-economy. She has been recognized as one of Concordia's most popular professors for seven consecutive years by Maclean's magazine.
Education: PhD in Administration (specializing in organizational information systems) from Université Laval, MSc and BBA in Information Systems from HEC Montréal, and BSc in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University.
Research interests include governance of IT, adoption of IT by SMEs, and algorithmic management fairness. Her work appears in journals like the Journal of Strategic Information Systems and International Journal of Accounting Information Systems.
Awards include the Dean’s mid-career award for distinguished scholarship (2012), Méritic – Carrière en TI (2017), and Top 20 of Diversity (2019). She serves on boards such as Hydro-Québec and the Autorité des marchés financiers, and chairs committees like the Digital Technology Committee at Hydro-Québec.
