Anne Marie Craig is the Head of Division (Adult Nursing, Community and Health) at the School of Health and Life Sciences. She holds a BSc (Honours) in Nursing Studies from the University of Abertay (1992) and completed her doctoral studies in 2018. Her expertise spans pre- and post-registration nursing education, with a focus on inclusive learning environments for students with disabilities. She has held roles as a renal nurse educator, practice education facilitator, and lecturer before transitioning to higher education in 2009.
Her research emphasizes reasonable adjustments in nursing education, curriculum design, and interprofessional learning. She chairs the Disability Coordinators Forum to standardize support strategies for students with disabilities. Anne Marie is an External Examiner at De Montfort University (2020–2024) and has supervised Honours, Masters, and Doctoral students.
Key awards include the George McKenzie Memorial Prize (1992), Ann B. McNaught Prize (1999), and Abstract Scholarship Award (2001). Her recent work addresses wicked problems in nursing education and the implementation of equitable assessment practices.
