Anne-Marie Conn

Anne-Marie Conn, Ph.D., M.Ed., is a Research Assistant Professor (Part-Time) at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Department of Pediatrics. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Capella University (2011), an M.Ed. from the University of Rochester (2014), an MA in Psychology from SUNY Brockport (2001), and a BS in Psychology from SUNY Brockport (1996). Her work focuses on mitigating the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through clinical screening, community training, and interventions in pediatric and foster care settings.

Her research interests include:

• Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their long-term effects
• Trauma-informed care in pediatric and educational systems
• Screening for social-emotional problems in foster care
• Community-based interventions for at-risk urban youth
• Improving healthcare outcomes for vulnerable children

Recent publications address childhood obesity prevention via family-centered trials, trauma-informed vaccination practices, and environmental health concerns in urban youth. Her scientific awards include:
