Dr. Anne-Maria Reinecke serves as a Researcher and Head of the high-power laser laboratory at the Institute of Process Engineering and Environmental Technology, Chair of Hydrogen and Nuclear Energy, Technische Universität Dresden. Holding a Dr.-Ing. (Doctor of Engineering) degree, she has been affiliated with TU Dresden since completing her engineering degree in 2003.
Her research focuses on laser applications for nuclear technology and high-temperature materials systems. Key research areas include laser decontamination techniques for nuclear decommissioning (LaDECO project), manufacturing of ceramic-based high-temperature resistant thermoelectric modules (TE-K-SYSTEM), and synergetic coupling of energy carriers for efficient processes (SYNKOPE-flex). Her work bridges nuclear engineering, materials science, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Analysis of her publication history from 2004-2024 reveals consistent contributions in laser-based technologies for nuclear applications, with particular emphasis on ceramic joining techniques, silicon carbide applications, and radiation-resistant materials. Her research shows progression from fundamental laser-ceramic interaction studies to applied nuclear decommissioning technologies, with recent work focusing on practical implementation and field demonstrations.
Dr. Reinecke has established a strong collaborative network with researchers including Herrmann, Lippmann, and Hurtado across multiple publications and projects. Her leadership of the high-power laser laboratory demonstrates her technical expertise and institutional responsibility in this specialized research domain.
