Anne Maloney serves as Senior Lecturer and course leader for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Practice programs at Kingston University's Department of Education within the School of Education, Midwifery and Social Work. She leads the SENIP Foundation Degree, BA Top-up, and BA in Education - Supporting Inclusion and Wellbeing.
Her educational qualifications include:
- PGCE in post-16 sector
- BA (Hons) in German and European Studies
- Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare
- Levels 2 and 3 Counselling certifications
- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)
Ms. Maloney specializes in creating neuroinclusive learning environments, drawing from lived neurodivergent experience and decades of teaching across all age groups. Her current Master's research focuses on supportive practices for neurodivergent students, while her co-developed Neurodiversity Learning Environment Audit tool - funded by the Network of Equality Champions - now forms part of Kingston University's official Neurodiversity Toolkit. She actively promotes awareness through cross-departmental lectures and participates in Special Interest Groups for Inclusion and Social Justice and Early Years.
