Dr. Anne Majumdar is a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Chronic Disease at St Mary's University, where she serves as Course Lead for the MSc Chronic Disease Management and Research Director of the Centre for Applied Social and Health Research. As a HCPC-registered dietitian, her work focuses on integrating clinical practice with research to address health disparities and improve chronic disease management. Her research emphasizes BAME health, health inequalities, and culturally tailored interventions.
Her research interests include exploring barriers to healthy lifestyle choices in UK-based Ghanaian communities, the impact of portion control tools for obesity management, and the role of motivation-based interventions in physical activity programs.
