Anne M. McAlister is an Assistant Professor in the First Year Engineering Center at the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on engineering identity, teamwork development, and sociotechnical systems education, aiming to diversify and strengthen engineering education through inclusive practices. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and dual master's and bachelor's degrees in Systems Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
