Anne L. Alstott is the Jacquin D. Bierman Professor of Taxation at Yale Law School with a secondary appointment at the Yale Child Study Center and affiliation at the Yale Institution for Social and Policy Studies. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School (1987) and an A.B. in Economics from Georgetown University (1984). Prior to Yale, she taught at Columbia Law School (1992–1996) and Harvard Law School (2008–2011). A leading scholar in public policy toward children, families, and lifecycle issues, her work spans taxation, social security reform, and gender-affirming healthcare advocacy. Notable books include *The Public Option* (2019), *A New Deal for Old Age* (2016), and *The Stakeholder Society* (1999, with Bruce Ackerman).
