Dr. Anne Fleur Kortekaas-Rijlaarsdam is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with the LEARN! - Learning sciences department. Her research focuses on social-emotional functioning, school well-being, and educational interventions, with emphasis on data quality and policy impact. She contributes to projects like ADAPT (interventions for basic skills) and evaluations of post-COVID educational programs.
She holds ancillary roles including Member of the Supervisory Board at SKOA (2023–2027) and Advisor to the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science (2025–present). Her work aligns with UN SDGs related to quality education and sustainable development.
