Anne Fast

Anne Fast is a full-time Lecturer in Psychology at Tufts University's School of Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD (2018) and MS (2015) in Psychology from University of Washington, and a BA from Providence College (2013). Previously, she was Associate Professor at Western Washington University.

Her research examines social and moral development in childhood, particularly:

• Emotional foundations of generosity
• Social norm adherence
• Gender development processes
• Moral reasoning in play contexts

Recent publications focus on prosocial behavior development, gender identity formation, and moral cognition in preschool contexts. She teaches Statistics for Behavioral Sciences and developmental psychology courses.
