Anne Cathrin Ziegler is a Researcher and doctoral candidate at the Otto Suhr Institute, Department of Sociology, Free University of Berlin. She is affiliated with the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1671 'Home(s): Phenomena, Practices, Representations' at the Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS), where she leads subproject B07 on 'Kitchen and garden. Homemaking practices of Latin American activists.' Her work bridges sociological research with interdisciplinary Latin American studies.

This project analyzes connections between cultural worldviews, identity formation, and socio-political struggles. Subproject B07 investigates how domestic practices reflect socio-cultural agency in Latin American activist contexts.
