Anne-Célia Disdier

Anne-Célia Disdier is a Research Fellow at the INRA-AgroParisTech joint research unit in Public Economics (UMR1393 PjSE) under the ECOSOCIO department, based at the Île-de-France - Versailles-Saclay center. Her work critically examines non-tariff measures—including labels, norms, and quality standards—and their impact on agricultural and food trade, with emphasis on societal well-being optimization and WTO protectionism risks.

She earned her PhD from the University of Paris I on informal trade barriers followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Milan's Centro Studi Luca d'Agliano. Her research spans International Trade, Agricultural Economics, and Development Economics, utilizing experimental methods to evaluate regulatory policies affecting developing countries' export access to Europe.
