Anne Braakmann-Folgmann is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Earth Observation research group at the Department of Physics and Technology, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her work focuses on satellite remote sensing and artificial intelligence applications for polar climate monitoring.

Recent publications highlight her work on iceberg meltwater effects on ocean stratification, machine learning for sea level anomaly prediction, and international climate collaborations through the INTERAAC project. Her studies span satellite remote sensing, polar oceanography, and environmental AI.
She is affiliated with the Earth Observation research group and has contributed to interdisciplinary projects involving Norway-China climate research and satellite-based snow depth estimation.
