معرفی
Anne Bourdon is a Director of Research (DR1) at CNRS, leading the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP) at Ecole Polytechnique since 2023. Her research focuses on low-temperature plasmas, including atmospheric-pressure plasmas for combustion applications, low-pressure magnetized plasmas in electric propulsion, and computational modeling of plasma flows using fluid and particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations.
Professional History:
- 2023–present: Director of LPP (UMR CNRS 7648)
- 2020–2022: Deputy Director of LPP
- 2014–present: CNRS Researcher at LPP
- 2003–2014: CNRS Researcher at EM2C Laboratory (Ecole Centrale Paris)
Achievements: Recipient of the CNRS Bronze Medal (2000). Active in editorial roles for journals such as Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics and co-chair of the Online Low-Temperature Plasma (OLTP) seminar series.
Technical Contributions: Specializes in plasma-assisted combustion, plasma simulations, and plasma applications in propulsion systems. Her work bridges fundamental plasma physics with engineering applications.
