Anne Berit Lyngstad

Anne Berit Lyngstad is an Associate Professor in Norwegian Didactics at the Department of Teacher Education, Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences, NTNU. Her research focuses on literature and literary didactics, particularly in Nordic and contemporary Norwegian contexts. She holds a PhD in Nordic Literary Studies from NTNU (2018) and a Master’s in Norwegian Literature (2008).

• Research Interests: Reading culture, children's literature, literary geography, post-criticism, autobiography, and interdisciplinary approaches to literature.
• Teaching: Currently supervises master’s theses in Norwegian didactics (MGLU5202, DID3960) and teaches courses on language, literature, and pedagogy.
• Publications: Explores themes like reality literature, soundscape analysis, and cosmopolitanism in children's fiction, with recent works on Hans Jæger and Jakob Wegelius.

Her scholarly engagement spans academic articles, book chapters, and contributions to networks like CLEAR (Children's Literature Education and Research) and Nettverk for lesekultur. She has co-hosted podcasts and participated in public debates on literary topics.
