Annalisa Francesca Riccio is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of World Languages at Rowan University's College of Humanities & Social Sciences. She teaches Elementary and Intermediate Italian at the university level while also instructing Italian and Spanish at the secondary level. Her professional roles include freelance translation and interpretation for a local company.

Her research interests focus on Italian Cinema, methodologies for Second Language Acquisition using multimedia tools, Sicilian Poetry and Dialectology, and the cultural study of Italian folkloristic music and dance. She has extensive international experience, having lived in Italy, Peru, and the U.S., which informs her interdisciplinary approach to language education.
