Dr Annabel Keeler is an Affiliated Researcher at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, where she also assists in teaching classical Persian literature. She holds a BA in Persian from the School of Oriental and African Studies (1981) and a PhD in Islamic Studies (Cambridge), focusing on a 12th-century Persian Sufi commentary on the Qur’an. Previously, she was a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College (Cambridge) and held a Research Fellowship in Qur’anic Studies at the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London (2002). Her work bridges Islamic Studies, Sufi traditions, and medieval Persian textual analysis.
