معرفی
Anna Walduck is an Honorary Associate Professor at RMIT University's School of Science. Her research focuses on medical microbiology, immunology, and vaccine development, particularly targeting Helicobacter pylori, Chlamydia pneumonia, and Staphylococcus aureus. She explores mechanisms of vaccine-induced protection, bacterial pathogenesis, and gastric barrier function. Her work integrates nanotechnology for vaccine delivery and organoid models to study gastric cancer initiation.
Dr. Walduck has supervised research on vaccine mechanisms against H. pylori and collaborates on projects involving lipid nanoparticles, glycobiology, and transgenic parasite systems. She has published extensively on topics like glycan adhesion, immune evasion, and vaccine design. Notable contributions include studies on H. pylori LPS variation and the role of integrin α4β7+ cells in immunity.
Her research also extends to aspirin's effects on bacterial infections and the application of CRISPR-Cas12a for microbial diagnostics. She holds an ORCID identifier (0000-0002-9624-4370) and is open to supervising PhD/Masters students in vaccine development and pathogenesis.
