Dr Anna Sturman is a Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Science. She is affiliated with the Sydney Environment Institute and focuses on intersections of political economy, ecology, and rural sociology. Her research examines climate adaptation pathways in colonial-capitalist economies, with recent projects addressing animal protection during climate disasters and financialization of agricultural land. She holds a PhD (2021) from the Political Economy Department at the University of Sydney.
