Anna Sofía Veyhe

Anna Sofía Veyhe is an Associate Professor in Health Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences, The University of the Faroe Islands. She serves as Programme Leader for the Master of Health Science programme, with responsibilities spanning course management, teaching, supervision, and examination.

Her research focuses on dietary intake patterns, iodine and vitamin D nutrition, environmental contaminants, and health outcomes in vulnerable populations including pregnant women and adolescents. She contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals through work on food systems sustainability and health equity.
